Placing an Order Once you place your order with Grey Ink, your design will not be printed until you have approved your proof. Normally you can expect to receive an emailed proof within 72 hours, depending on the design, and whether any photographs are involved. If you are required to submit a photograph, please email your photograph(s) to orders@greyink.com as soon as possible after you checkout. Be sure to include your name and the order number in the email, and make sure you attach the photograph, instead of inserting it in the email. Please send your photograph in its original high-resolution format. If you are unsure on the quality of your photograph, please refer to "photo tips". You can also email me the photo and I can let you know if it is something that will work well or not. If your photo needs to be cropped or retouched (removing blemishes, red-eye, etc.) just send the original and I will do the rest to fit it best in the layout you have chosen. Also if you would like the photograph to appear in black & white or sepia, please choose that option before you add the item to your cart. If you are having problems choosing between a couple different photos, go ahead and email them to me and I can let you know which one will work best.
Payment Pay Pal is an easy to use, free payment method. It is my preferred method of payment, as it will cause no delays in your order. It allows you to pay by credit card, or directly from your bank account, and it is instant. I will also accept personal checks or money orders. Please allow up to 10 days for your payment to clear, before your order can be shipped. Email me at heather@greyink.com and I will inform you where to send your check or money order.
Turnaround Turnaround time will vary by product. For custom orders, please refer to our Custom Orders page. Most stationery items will be customized and shipped priority mail to you within 8-10 days of your proof approval. I outsource most items to a professional printing company to assure you are getting the highest quality products. Labels, not accompanied by a stationery order, normally ship out within 3 business days after approval. And photo magnets normally ship within two weeks of proof approval. Expedited shipping is also available for an additional cost. Please contact me if this is necessary.

Return Policy I make every effort to assure you are completely happy with your Grey Ink purchase. Still we all know mistakes can happen. It is important for you to double check each proof to make sure everything is correct and exactly how you want it. Once you approve your proof, any mistakes that may have been overlooked, will become your responsibility. Should a mistake occur, we will be happy to reprint your order, applying a 30% discount. If the mistake is ours, and your finished product is not the same as the proof appeared, we will correct the problem and reprint and ship your order free of charge. |
